National disgrace

There is no hope that under the present day authorities the guilty of the abduction of Dmitry will be found and punished. International Community constantly claims about the necessity to clear up the fate of the Belarusian journalist and other disappeared Belarusian oppositionists.

Thus, in 2004 The Parliament Assembly of European Council adopted a resolution in which claimed Belarusian authorities for conducting an independent investigation regarding Dmitry Zavadsky affair, and to dismiss from posts Viktor Shejman, Jurij Sivakov and Dmitrij Pavlichenko.

The resolutions of The UNO Commission for Human Rights, The Parliament Assembly of OSCE claim to reveal the truth of the abduction of Dmitry Zavadsky. The entrance to the USA and the countries-members of The European Union for Minister of Foreign Affairs Viktor Naumov, head of President’s Administration Office Viktor Shejman, former head of MVD Jury Sivakov and commander of SOBR (Special Troops of Fast Response) Dmitry Pavlichenko have been forbidden because they are suspected of being involved in the abduction of Dmitry Zavadsky.
